Prominent businessman Petr Aven has officially ended his ownership ties with the Russian lender Alfa-Bank.

Previously, Aven held a 12.4% stake in the bank through an intermediary structure. However, recent developments indicate that he has fully divested his interests.

According to a report by the LETA news agency, Aven has formally informed both Latvian and European authorities of his decision. He no longer holds shares in Alfa-Bank or any other Russia-registered companies, either directly or indirectly.

This move marks a significant shift in Aven’s financial and corporate engagements amid evolving regulatory and geopolitical landscapes.
